Welcome. My name is Amanda Godin. I ran a pet sitting/care business in Peterborough from 1999 to 2020. At present we are on hold. I am working towards rebuilding in the future. I am currently working as an RVT and hope you all stay safe and well.
Myself and my daughter Zaynah, who helps with pet visits.
As a small business person and Veterinary Technician, I keep up with Continuing Education through the Association of Veterinary Technicians. I like to focus on real skills that will help my clients - animal behaviour and training, nutrition, and customer service are just some of the things I like to brush up on in order to always bring my clients the best in animal care.
For us, petsitting is a family affair. My kids (Zoey and Zaynah) were brought up in this business. They love the comings and goings of the cats, especially at Christmas time when we always have a full house. They are lucky enough to come on some visits with me, and have become good friends with many of my clients. The other people who work for me are all close friends and family. It's the way I like to keep it - a personal business deserves a personal touch.
We love all pets - Cats, dogs, and all small critters, including reptiles. We do in-home sitting, basic grooming and care, along with in-home medications, consultations, advice and training. Anyone who helps out with my business is insured for your peace of mind. Our home is located in the heart of Downtown Peterborough.
